est un chambre familial, bâti sur les fondations de l’ancien chateau sur la
place centrale de Miers, un joli et agréable petit village dans le Lot.
Le Lot, un departement dédié au tourisme
Vous y trouverez une variété d’activités, comme balade, escalade, spéléologie et la descente de la Dordogne en canoë. La region est plein de possibilities: d’une journée tranquille au bord d’un lac au cours d’ULM dans un petit aéroport regional.

Le Petit Dragon Rouge
is a large, family run Chambres d'Hôtes situated in the quiet pretty village of
Miers only 10km from Gramat, 12Km from Rocamadour and 4km from the Goufre de
Padaric.
Built on the foundations of a castle and using reclaimed castle stone the Chambres d'Hôtes is the oldest building in the village, we are a stones throw from the village pub/restaurant and are situated opposite a quaint little church on the edge of the village square.
Located in the middle of a region dedicated to tourism There is much to see and do in the area. At Rocamadour a 13th century cathedral is built into the cliff face and there is a breathtaking cave system at Padirac including an underground lake on which you can take a boat ride.
While for the more adventurous there is a variety of sporting activities available locally including kayaking, orienteering and potholing.
Mountain bikes can be hired with us, we can even arrange a days accompanied cycling to some of the local sites.
There is a secure area for cycles, should you bring your own and plenty of car parking.
We have five well appointed rooms, two quad, two triple and one twin/double room all with WC Shower and hand basin.
Each of the quad rooms has the capacity for an additional fifth place for a child or infant. We also have a cot available for small children.

There is a large guest lounge looking out onto the village square
leading on to the front terrace, an ideal place, for whiling away those lazy summer afternoons watching the world go by.

is children friendly welcoming families of all ages and size.
Children are welcome in all parts and a selection of board games is available to use by everyone.
Tea and coffee are supplied in copious quantities free of charge, during the day and evening
Finally .... Carol and Peter pride themselves on being able to cater for almost any reasonable request.

How to find us - We are about twenty minutes drive off the main Paris to Toulouse motorway, the A20 (J54 from the North, J56 from the South), just below the rugby stronghold of Brive in the Lot region.
The nearest airports are Toulouse, Rodez, Limoges & Bergerac, pick ups can be arranged at the airport at an additional cost.

is een familiale chambres d’hôtes, gespecialiseerd in groepen en gelegen in het rustige mooie dorpje Miers, een 10-tal kilometer van Gramat, 12Km van Rocamadour, 4km van Goufre de Padaric..
Gebouwd op de funderingen van een kasteel en met gebruik van de oude kasteelstenen, is het het oudste gebouw in het dorp. Le Petit Dragon Rouge is gelegen op een steenworp van het dorpscafé/restaurant, tegenover een klein kerkje, aan de rand van het dorpsplein.
Gelegen in het midden van een toeristische streek, zijn er heel wat bezienswaardigheiden. In Rocamadour is de 13e-eeuws kathedraal gebouwd tegen de rotsen, in Padirac is er een adembenemende ondergrondse grot, inclusief ondergronds meer, te bezichtigen per bootje.
Voor de meer avontuurlijken is er een variëteit van sportmogelijkheden, zoals kajak, speleologie en rotsklimmen.
U kan bij ons mountainbikes huren en we kunnen eveneens zorgen voor al dan niet begeleide fietsarrangementen.
Er is een beveiligde fietsenstalling is voorzien, indien u graag uw eigen fiets meebrengt.
Parkeergelegenheid voor de wagen is er in overvloed.
heeft vijf goed uitgeruste kamers, waarvan twee 4-persoonskamers, twee 3-persoonskamers en twee 2-persoonskamers, allen met WC, douche en lavabo. Elke 4-persoonskamer heeft de mogelijkheid om een kinderbed bij te plaatsen. Een babybedje is eveneens beschikbaar.

Er is een groot salon
met terras, uitkijkend op het dorpsplein waar u heerlijk in het zonnetje kan genieten van het nietsdoen. .
Le Petit Dragon Rouge
is kindvriendelijk en verwelkomt dan ook graag kleine en grote families van
alle leeftijden.
Een selectie van bordspelen staan ter beschikking van groot en klein.
Koffie en thee zijn gratis en overvloedig te verkrijgen, gedurende de hele dag en avond.
Tot slot.... Carol en Peter gaan er prat op dat ze aan bijna elke vraag kunnen tegemoet komen. Aarzel dus niet om hen uw vraag/problem voor te leggen.
Een vegetarisch menu kan op aanvraag voorzien worden
Waar ons te vinden:We liggen een 20-tal minuten van de autostrade A20 Parijs – Toulouse, net onder rugby-stad Brive, in het departement Lot. De dichtstbijzijnde luchthavens zijn Toulouse, Rodez, Limoges en Bergerac.
Wij kunnen u desgewenst ophalen op 1 van deze luchthavens, mits supplement.
